What should I do if I don’t see eye to eye with my buyer?
After the buyer has placed an order
Once your buyer has placed an order, you should talk to them and agree on the exact scope of the work. You should also make sure that they send you everything specified in your instructions. If your buyer does not provide you with everything you need, if you don’t understand exactly what they need, or if your buyer changes their mind, you can simply refuse the order. Be careful, however, because doing so could negatively affect your statistics: find out more.
When an order is in progress
Your buyer may request a cancelation, but you don’t want to approve it because you have started working on the project already. You can simply refuse the cancelation request and explain your reasons for doing so. In any case, you must follow the steps in the order process, including having a dispute raised if necessary, when you feel you are 100% confident of the quality of your work.
After you have delivered an order
First and foremost, ensure that your service's description is as clear as possible and that you delivered what was agreed upon. When a buyer is not satisfied, they must request a revision. If the buyer keeps asking for more revisions, and you consider their requests excessive because the work has been fully completed, you can refuse any further revisions. In this case, the buyer will have the right to raise a dispute.
In all cases
Communication is key when managing orders. The more effectively you communicate with buyers and share explanations with them, the fewer problems you are likely to encounter.
