Buyer order process: Revision request

You have just made a revision request to your seller after your order was delivered.

Before the seller accepts or refuses your request, make sure you explain what needs to be changed.

  • If you haven't done so already, communicate with them to give them all the necessary details.
  • A revision request should be clear and detailed to avoid all misunderstandings.

📌 Please note: The seller has 48 hours to reply positively or negatively to this request. Passed this delay, you can open a dispute with ComeUp.

The seller should accept the revision if...

✅ It is included in their service description, and they agree to revise the work delivered. If the service does not mention a limit on the number of revisions, this means the seller needs to accept your request by default.

✅ They have made a mistake in their delivery and need to correct it.

✅ They have delivered incomplete work. In that case, they should have waited until they had finished the work to deliver. They are at fault and must finish the order as soon as possible.

The seller can refuse the revision if...

🚫 Your revision request is unclear or incomplete. If you only have questions on the delivery, a revision is not required. You can still talk with the seller for 7 days after the order is completed and closed.

🚫 The revision is not included in the service offer, and you have not paid for that option. Check carefully if the service you ordered includes free revisions or not. If that's not the case, you might have to pay a little more to get a revision.

🚫 You request additional work that was not initially planned in the order. A revision is only made to correct what has been delivered. It must not add a new element.

If you need additional work done, you can talk to your seller so they can make an offer adapted to your needs (option or custom offer).
