Buyer order process: Order in progress

This step starts when the seller accepts the order or a revision request. From now on, they can start working and must deliver (or redeliver) the order before the delivery deadline.

Your money stays in a secure escrow account. As long as the order is not closed and confirmed by you, the seller doesn't have access to it.

If you have any doubts or questions or want to know about the seller's progress, don't hesitate to send them a message. Good communication helps ensure there are no misunderstandings and makes for a smooth collaboration.

⚠️ At this stage, the order is no longer refundable without the seller's agreement.

  • If you want to cancel, talk to the seller first.
  • You can also make a cancellation request directly using the cancellation button on the order status page.

😍 Once the seller has finished their work, they will deliver their work, and you can verify it.


I want to add something to my order. How do I pay the seller?

If you want to add an element to your order or ask for additional work, here's what you can do:

  • You can ask the seller to make a custom offer that covers the order. This offer will be added to your order in progress.
  • You can also order a new option for the order.
💡 Important: Never pay a seller outside the platform. If you do, we cannot protect you if something goes wrong.

How can I get a refund?

Once the order is in progress, it can only be canceled and refunded if the seller agrees. Here are the steps:

If there are no other solutions after communicating with the seller, you can ask for a cancellation on the order status page interface. The seller can also cancel the order from their interface directly.

Once the cancellation is made, you are immediately refunded on the payment method you used.

The seller doesn't answer. What should I do?

The seller can be busy and take a bit of time to answer. Here are the best practices to follow:

Wait a few hours. The seller might not be available immediately.

Follow-up through the ComeUp chat. Remember to stay courteous and precise in your request.

Check the delivery date: If the seller still has time, it's possible that they're working on your order and will answer during the delivery.

If the silence persists, don't hesitate to make a cancellation request or cancel the order directly if the delivery delay has been exceeded.
