Buyer order process: Cancellation

Your order has been canceled, and the money that was placed in the escrow account has been refunded. Know that the refund has been made automatically when the order was canceled. Your money has been sent back to the payment method used to pay for the order.

  • If you paid with the ComeUp wallet or PayPal, the refund is visible immediately.
  • If you paid with a credit card, the refund can take two to three business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to appear in your account.
  • If the cancellation took place less than 24 hours after your payment, your bank can choose to directly delete the charge instead of displaying the refund. In that case, the transaction will disappear from your bank statement within a few days.

📌 After the cancellation:

  • The collaboration with the seller stops immediately.
  • The chat remains open for 7 days if you want to continue communicating with them after the cancellation.

Can an order be restarted after cancellation?

No, a canceled order cannot be reactivated because you have been refunded.

💡 Pro tip: If you want to work with the same seller again, you need to place a new order. Before doing that, communicate with them to clarify the conditions and avoid a new cancellation.

How can I be sure I've been refunded?

The refund is automatic after a cancellation. Here's how to check:

  • On PayPal or your ComeUp wallet, check your balance immediately.
  • On your bank account, wait 3 to 5 days for the refund to be visible.
  • If the cancellation took place in less than 24 hours, your bank can choose to directly delete the charge instead of displaying the refund. In that case, the transaction will disappear.

💡 Pro tip: If you don't see anything after five business days, make sure you're checking the right bank account.

Can I rate an order after it has been canceled?

No, it's not possible to rate an order that has been canceled. A review must be left on an order that has been completed to judge the complete work of the seller.

💡 Pro tip: If the cancellation took place because of a problem with the seller, you can always contact our ComeUp support team to signal a negative experience.
