How do payment links work?

A payment link allows you to send a client or prospect a URL that takes them directly to the checkout page, where they can purchase a custom offer.

This feature is reserved for sellers with a ComeUp Plus Standard or Premium subscription.

đź“Ś How do I create a payment link?

Go to Sales → Payment links, then click Create a link. You will then need to complete the following form:

  • Offer name: the name of your offer. Required.
  • Linked service: the service associated with the offer, selected from your active services. Required.
  • Description: a description of what you are offering. This description will serve as a reference in the event of a dispute. Maximum 500 characters. Required.
  • Price: up to €5,000. This amount corresponds to your net earnings. ComeUp fees and VAT are added on top and paid by the client.
  • Delivery time: between 1 and 155 days.
  • Link validity period: unlimited by default. After the selected expiration date, the link will be automatically deactivated. Clicks will still be counted, but clients will be redirected to an error page.
  • Maximum number of orders: unlimited by default. Once this limit has been reached, the link will be deactivated. Clicks will still be counted, but clients will be redirected to an error page.

đź”— How do I share my link?

As soon as the link is created, a “Link created successfully” banner will appear with the following message: “Copy and share it to start receiving orders.”

Click Copy link to copy your URL, which will look like this: comeup.com/pay/…  

You can then send it to your client through any channel you choose, such as a message, email, or social media. You can also add it to your website or social media profiles.

Payment links are reusable, so you can share the same link with several clients. Just remember to check whether you have set a maximum number of orders.

âś… What happens when the client pays?

When a client clicks your link, they are taken directly to the checkout page, where they can pay for your offer.

A standard order is then created, with the same process and rules as any other ComeUp order. Your earnings are credited to your wallet as usual.

The order is included in your statistics in the same way as any other order. Make sure you set an appropriate delivery time to avoid delivering late.

⚙️ Managing your payment links

Your links are divided into two tabs: Active and Inactive.

For each link, you can view the following information:

  • Name
  • Price
  • Validity period
  • Orders
  • Clicks

An actions menu is available for each link:

  • Copy link: share the link again in one click.
  • Edit: update the link’s information.
  • Delete: permanently remove the link.

⚠️ Deleting a link is irreversible. However, this will not affect any orders that have already been placed. These orders will continue as normal.

Frequently asked questions

A link can become inactive for one of the following three reasons:

  • The validity period has expired: the expiration date you selected has passed.
  • The maximum number of orders has been reached: the limit you set has been reached.
  • The linked service is offline: the service has been paused or removed, or you no longer have the required seller level or ComeUp Plus subscription.

Of course! You can create as many payment links as you like.

Yes! A payment link can be reused by several clients unless you have set a maximum number of orders. In that case, the link will be deactivated once the limit has been reached.

Is an order placed through a payment link included in my statistics?

Yes! Just like a standard order, it is included when calculating your statistics.

Can I change the price or linked service after receiving orders?

Yes, at any time. Your changes will only apply to future orders. Orders that have already been placed will not be affected.
