How do sponsored services work?
Sponsored services allow you to boost the visibility of one of your services in search results and category listings. It’s a great way to increase your exposure and improve your chances of making sales.
🛠️ Creating a sponsored campaign
To promote a service, you need to create a campaign. It only takes a few clicks. You’ll need to define:
The service to promote
👉 One campaign = one service. To sponsor multiple services, create separate campaigns.
The campaign duration
⏱️ Between 7 and 30 days
💡 Not too short (give it time to work), and not too long (so you stay in control)
Your budget
💰 Minimum: €5 – Maximum: €500
➕ You can create multiple campaigns for the same service to increase your budget.
Launch date
📅 If a date isn’t available, it means that day is fully booked with active campaigns.
💎 ComeUp Plus bonus
- ComeUp Plus Standard: +$5 in free sponsored impressions each month
- ComeUp Plus Premium: +$20 in free impressions each month
👁️ How are impressions calculated?
When setting up your campaign, ComeUp will show you the guaranteed number of impressions based on:
- The category of your service
- The budget you allocate
📌 An impression counts only when your service thumbnail is visible on-screen in listings (categories, search results). If it’s not on screen, it’s not counted.
💡 Impression pricing is based on CPM (Cost Per 1,000 impressions) and varies by category performance.
Example: Category X: 1,000,000 views → €5,000 revenue Category Y: 500,000 views → €10,000 revenue 👉 You’ll pay more per impression in Category Y because it has a higher sales potential.
🖼️ How is my service displayed?
Once your campaign is active, your service will be labeled “Sponsored” in the listings.
The algorithm will display it:
- Primarily in the exact category of your service
- Secondarily in parent categories, all the way up to the homepage
- In relevant search results, if your service matches the search keywords
🎯 The goal: to display your service in the right place at the right time to maximize your sales potential.
You can track your campaign performance in real-time with detailed graphs, directly in the “Sponsored Services” section.
⏹️ End or stopping a campaign
Your campaign will end automatically once it reaches its scheduled duration.
It’s normal to receive more impressions than guaranteed—the number shown is a minimum, not a cap.
You can also manually stop a campaign at any time. If you stop it after it has started, the unused budget will be refunded, minus 20%, to account for the reserved ad space.
If the campaign has not yet started, you’ll be fully refunded.
